Marie Reynolds London Restore and Josh Rosebrook Advanced hydration mask

Although we currently have great weather in the south of France, my skin still needs all of the hydrating and plumping help it can get!

As you know, I love to experiment with face masks. Sometimes, using different masks in a row helps to get more comprehensive skin benefits. This combo here is great to hydrate and soothe the skin.

Step 1: Balance, strengthen and heal the skin

First, I apply the Marie Reynolds Restore probiotic mask. It’s a powder that you mix with water. I leave it on for 15 minutes but I don’t let it dry on my skin (I mist my face throughout the application). This is an amazing healing mask that reduces redness and accelerates the healing of blemishes (you can read my full review here).

Step 2: Soothe, hydrate and plump the skin

Then, I use the Josh Rosebrook advanced hydration mask. This is an unusual hydrating mask full of plant oils, butters and herbal extracts. It has a balm texture, so I like to pat it on damp skin (I use a hydrating mist beforehand). I leave it on for 20 minutes and take it off with a flannel. I find that it plumps the skin, diminishes dehydration lines and generally helps to keep the moisture in. Plus, it has soothing properties and so it reduces redness too.

The next morning, my skin tone looks more even and my skin feels hydrated and calm. It’s a killer mask combo!
