• Kjaer Weis – Cream foundation

In my search of a good coverage organic foundation, I stumbled upon the Kjaer Weis cream foundation.

This is a cream foundation formulated with a mix of plant oils (sweet almond, coconut, jojoba and sunflower oils) and waxes. It has a buildable medium to high coverage that makes it a versatile product as you use it as a concealer or all-over foundation.

The texture is creamy but stiff enough that it stays in place. However, it can be difficult to blend if skin is not well prepped and moisturized beforehand. I have the shade silken which is a good match for my light skin tone with yellow undertones.

As for most of their products, this is refillable and the packaging feels luxurious and heavy which is nice.

The problem is that the product expires too quickly and I wasn’t able to finish it in time. At 70$ for the foundation and packaging (the refills cost 44$), it wasn’t worth it for me. If you can use it up quickly enough, it’s a lovely foundation though.
