My updated skincare routine

I thought it was time to share my updated skincare routine with you!

Last month, I explained extensively how to build a skincare routine in this article and so, today, I wanted to give you a run-down of my current routine with the specific products I’m using at the moment (it might vary sometimes when I’m testing new products; you can usually find more info about this on Instagram).

AM routine

Goal: support skin barrier + protect from environmental aging

  1. Cleanser: Melvita gentle cleansing jelly
  2. Hydrating toner: Heritage rosewater & glycerin
  3. Hydrating serum: Jordan Samuel Skin hydrate serum
  4. Antioxidant serum: The ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F
  5. Eye cream: Acure radically rejuvenating eye cream
  6. Sunscreen: Devita solar protective moisturizer SPF 30 (only if I’m going outside, if not I use marula oil for this last step)
Exfoliating routine

PM routine

Goal: Target skin concerns (fines lines, pigmentation, texture)

  1. Makeup remover: Jordan Samuel Skin the aftershow treatment cleanser
  2. Cleanser: Melvita gentle cleansing jelly
  3. Exfoliation night*: Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 + Hydrating toner: Heritage rosewater & glycerin / Retinol night*: hydrating toner
  4. Hydrating serum: Jordan Samuel Skin hydrate serum
  5. Eye cream: Acure eye cream (not on retinol night because I like to apply my retinol around the eyes)
  6. Face oil: The ordinary 100% cold-pressed virgin marula oil / Retinol night: Jordan Samuel Skin étoile with retinol
  7. (Moisturizer/Balm): only if my skin feels tight or dry; at the moment I’m using the Ren Evercalm global protection day cream

*I do the exfoliating routine three times a week and the retinol routine two times a week.

Retinol routine

If I have blemishes, this is what I do. I also love doing mini-facials two times a week; I have a few articles about the masks I like using (current face masks, triple mask routine, glow routine, sunday mini-facial routine). If you have any questions, ask them below!
